THE LITTLE GIANT Game Review:

Little Giant throws you right into a world that is way too big for such a tiny character, and that’s exactly the problem—you’ve got to survive in it. This platformer is all about precision, patience, and probably a little bit of frustration as you try to make your way through levels filled with spikes, tricky jumps, and moving obstacles that seem designed to ruin your day.

At first, it seems simple. Just move, jump, avoid death, right? Nope. The game quickly steps up, throwing in absurdly placed traps, moving platforms that disappear when you land on them, and those tiny gaps where you barely squeeze through without getting impaled. Every jump matters, and if you mistime it even slightly, you’re back to the start of the level.

It gets better when you start unlocking new abilities, though. One second, you’re a helpless little guy trying not to die; the next, you’re double-jumping, wall-running, and finding ways to cheat death like a pro. Mastering these new moves is the key to making it through the later levels, which are straight-up brutal.

Visually, it’s got that clean, minimalistic style, where everything pops just enough to make the hazards stand out without being distracting. The music? Perfectly matches the intensity of the game—catchy enough to keep you going but not too cheerful, considering how often you’ll be restarting.

If you like platformers that test your patience, skill, and ability to not throw your keyboard across the room, Little Giant is for you. Just be ready to fail—a lot. But hey, that’s half the fun.
